Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia Control Panel is a regular device solely in combination with the Debian Linux Operating System and is included free of charge. With Hepsia you can host unlimited TLDs in one single web hosting user account. This is conceivable owing to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager interface. The other CP tools, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are available only in combination with CentOS. Unlike Hepsia, with them you have to use TWO different hosting user accounts. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not deliver any domain registration/transfer/management options. If you select Ubuntu as an OS for your dedicated web server, there will be no Control Panel choice.
Hosted Site Names 2 - unlimited domain names can be hosted with all offered Control Panel interfaces, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/administer your site names under one hosting account. Unfortunately, the cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting CP platforms do not present such feature at all - there is no Domain Manager interface and this is why they call for 2 different hosting user accounts: 1 domain name administration/billing/support account and 1 site administration user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will find that the Hepsia CP is available with Debian Linux only. It's free of charge to install it on your dedicated server. Hepsia is not available with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin web hosting CP tools can work only with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is offered with Debian or Ubuntu.
